Okay I never ever thought I would slightly turn my head on Batiste dry shampoo but I'm sorry to say it might have to move over!!!! This is GENUIS! I have some what dark hair, purple roots and previously black hair so I ALWAYS had the fun problem of the grey/white hair residue that wouldn't always go away after using 99% of dry shampoos. So you can imagine to my extreme shock this really left nothing!

The pictures I sprayed the dry shampoo close to my roots to show worst case scenario of any grey/white colouring that may possibly be in my hair, and I have to laugh because it was very faint.
If you do spray the can a good 5 or so inches away you won't have any color on dark hair.

The LONDON CLASSIC has a nice smell, maybe a tad more on the masculine side, but not a cologne smell, not sure if that makes sense or not, but it is nice. I did prefer using the RIO TROPICAL as it is a nice tropical scent :)

3 day unwashed hair, greasy flat and gross! Sorry for the sickening picture but it serves it's point.

Spraying so close to show there can be the grey color in the lighting

Spraying properly you see absolutely nothing other then my roots!

Not the best photo I know but the point for me to try this on 3rd day hair was to show it actually works like a DREAM! I had so much added volume (maybe just need to straighten my ends a bit) but it leaves your hair feeling fresh, clean and volumized. I was EXTREMELY impressed with this product and completely shocked at how well it just blended into my hair. My hair is usually gross feeling after day 2 since it is so fine but since I have been bleaching it I am washing it less to try to save it. When I did spray right the product up against my hair (again no need to do that but just to show) it did just brush right out and my colourful hair was back to life again. I CANNOT wait to purchase the COLAB EXTREME VOLUME and see how well that product works, I have high hopes!:)

PROS:

*$9.99 for 200ml
* Smell is very nice, not over powering
*Does exactly what you want it to do
*Leaves your hair feeling fresh
*Adds volume
*No unwanted grey color left behind like 99% of the other dry shampoos out there

CONS:

*I don't have enough of Colab products!

Would I purchase this? ABSOLUTELY! Would I recommend? You bet!!!

Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL Volume Review

1:30 AM

I know I get to excited sometimes but I was like really excited for this. I have fine hair and that means it falls flat so the chance to review any thing that could help my crappy hair I would walk miles to try lol. I was very kindly sent this from FarleyCo to see what kind of big hair trouble I could get myself into. And let me tell you I had some big hair wow!

"Batiste XXL Volume Brings you the legendary revitalising benefits of Batiste Dry Shampoo with ultimate volumising power. From dull limp hair to big bouncy locks in an instant.
Batiste Dry Shampoo banishes oily roots, giving dull, lifeless hair the makeover it needs without water. A quick burst revitalises hair, adds body and texture and leaves it feeling fresh too. No need to worry about skipping a shampoo."

The nozzle is great, like most hairspray nozzles. It works perfectly.

I second guessed this product after I had it in my hands, I was thinking well it really it's probably just a dry shampoo with a new label. HA! no that's not the case at all. I fell in love with this product and I no longer need to use hair spray after I back comb my hair since this just holds everything in place.

I did have an interesting go the first time I used this. I sprayed my hair like I usually would with any other dry shampoo and when I went to brush out the excess my hair was pretty knotted up. If you use too much of this product you will create such an issue if you try to brush your hair out later(if you back comb). I usually always try to comb out any back combing I do or I end up with such matted hair after the shower.

You seriously need a small amount with this, which means the bottle will last such a long time.

The annoying white that dry shampoo leaves in your hair. It does blend away pretty good so I can't complain too much.

On the left I just kind of rubbed it into my hair with my fingers and on the right I have brushed it in. Really you can hardly tell my hair isn't super black after this. But I do recommend with darker hair to not use it on the top layer, just underneath so if there is some color lightening look it won't be effected since it's underneath.

I think this is perfect for fine hair since my problem is nothing stays in my hair, it's so soft and straight that even hairspray doesn't seem to last unless it's the make your hair crunchy kind which I can't stand.
I use a lot of the hair powders so I can have added texture in my straight hair but this is going to replace that since the price is much cheaper and way easier to use.

Pros:

*Gives some serious volume
*Acts as a dry shampoo & volume maker!
*Pleasant scent
*Nice packaging
*Good price
*Adds amazing texture
*Quick & Easy

Cons:

*My ultimate con of 90% of the dry shampoo world is the color! I just want black! Too much dry shampoo can make your hair have the dull grey color if you have dark hair. Perfect for blondes.
*Can give too much texture if your not careful

I will for sure purchase this product. I really find Batiste Dry Shampoo products different then all the other dry shampoos I have tried. They really make your hair feel clean and refreshed. I think this product would work well with all hair types and I say give it a try if you are looking for a cheaper alternatives to the volumizing hair powders or need mega volume.

Batiste Dry Shampoo-Black Review

9:35 AM

I love Dry shampoo's....Well ones that actually work. Batiste is the kind that actually works! I have been searching everywhere to find the kind for black hair. I finally found it at Winners! There was 3 cans left and I snagged 2 of them. They were $5.99 each, can't go wrong at that price!

This basically works the same way as the regular ones but have some coloring in it so it should blend better for darker hair then the regular kind.
If you are a dry shampoo lover then you will know what I am talking about with the whole gray colored looking hair.
When I first got home I spray a little bit in the cap to see how dark the product really is and I was pleasantly surprised it was pretty black...

The next day I decided to give it a try and I was kind of disappointed that it doesn't spray fully black! I had this image that it would just spray a black spray and I would comb it out a bit and be good to go. But unfortunately it does have SOME gray. =/

This picture is before brushing it out, this is just to show the grayish color instead of what I thought would come out of the can,it should be black if it says black I think.

But it can be brushed out fairly easy so you don't have old looking hair ;)
I also use a shine spray once I am finished using any dry shampoo just in case there is some left over  color showing in my dark hair.

Over all I would for sure recommend this product as well I will repurchase it. The quality is better than even the expensive salon brands as well their selection is so large that there is something for everyone.

If you want to read more about this product I did do a full review on a couple from their line, you can read that HeRe .

What is your favorite Dry shampoo? What was the worst one you have ever tried?

Batiste

Batiste Dry Shampoo Review

3:11 PM

Okay I am very shocked by my thoughts on this product. I have tried numerous dry shampoo's and always went back to my baby powder 90% of the time.  I would still pick washing my hair over using a dry shampoo but I don't like to wash it everyday due to the damage and loss of color when I would wash daily. As well sometimes You need a break from all that blow drying and heat to your hair!
My over all thoughts on this product- AMAZING. This is by far the best dry shampoo that I have tested and I actually will purchase this product over and over... If I can ever find it in stock at my Shoppers Drug Mart.

My Favorite of the 3 different kinds would be the BLUSH, I really liked this scent the best. It is like a soft rose type of smell, very good and the best I have tried in the dry shampoo scents.

The next one, was the TROPICAL one, this is popular scent too, it just reminds me of summer and sun screen or something like that. It is my second favorite scent wise.

The Last one is in ORIGINAL and I don't really know how to describe this scent, it's alright but nothing too yummy about this smell.

All of these worked the same, I have tested them all out for the passed 6 days and REALLY liked them. It's the same as any other shampoo, just shake the can and spray in short bursts, rub into the roots and comb out.

PROS:
*Best smell I have ever had in a dry shampoo
*It felt cool on your head so it felt refreshing
*Easy to Comb out (not much gray looking hair after)
*Did not leave any film or residue in my hair
*Didn't Leave a film all over my whole bathroom like other dry shampoos have
* I could actually wear my hair down after I did use this product
*Good Spray Nozzle
* Good price

CONS:
* Leaves my black hair Slightly gray/white color (Need to try the colored dry shampoo)
* Will not replace washing hair

Would I recommend? YES
Would I buy this product? YES

* This is my honest review and I am surprised I could ever enjoy a dry shampoo as much as I did this one.
I also wanted to say I did get to try these samples out from FARLEYCO.CA who distribute Batiste dry shampoo products and their customer service was phenomenal! They are super quick to answer any questions you might have and very very nice! =)

You can see my other dry shampoo reviews HERE & HERE

Have you tried any of these? What was your favorite dry shampoo?

MAILLLLLLLLLLLL!!!

8:12 PM

I don't order much online since it can be pretty expensive with shipping costs so when I get something in the mail I think it's pretty exciting!
I actually got a lucky opportunity to test out a couple products from FARLEYCO.CA who distribute Batiste dry shampoo products and they just arrived in the mail...YAYYY =)
Here is my mail =)

ok Chicken was pretty excited as well

These 3 are their 50 ml on the go sized dry shampoo's. These are in ORIGINAL,BLUSH and TROPICAL and just from smelling them they smell really good! I actually like the small travel size so they are easy to bring anywhere. I am sure these little ones don't last too long but hopefully they will get the job done!
"Batiste Dry Shampoo quickly refreshes and revitalizes greasy dull and lifeless hair between washes.Quick and convenient to use, Batiste leaves hair feeling clean, fragrant and full of body" Sounds great hey?
This is my first time trying these products and have heard many good things about them so I am excited to try! I will test them out this week and do a full review on how they are...

got2b Rockin'it Dry Shampoo Review

7:51 PM

I was introduced to this product by my favoriest blogger friend - The Miss Twist aka Shawna This is got2b’s rockin’ it encore fresh dry shampoo... This was on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart ( I seem to go there a lot lately =/  ) for $5.99. This product has some pros & cons.

This is the product you can skip a day of washing a still keep your hair from looking like it.

I will start with the negative because I am just like that!
-Smells like Lemon Pledge... if you don't want to smell like a coffee table then you might not like this! ;)
- Leaves your hair a slight discolouration if you have dark hair and spray too much on it
- Lots of over spray with this sucker.. I had a light powder all over my bathroom...seriously I had to clean the counters and my iPod dock after I first used this
-If you have crazy fine hair like me =( this might give you a little bit of build up

Ok so that wasn't so bad was it??

The pro's of this product are:
-When on sale a great price
-Does soak up the oil
-Makes hair feel a bit cleaner
-Gives your hair a slight bit of texture if you need a quick fix on your roots when its crazy soft before styling
-Makes your hair smell like you have coffee table cleaner head aka Pledge (hey some ppl might like that?) hah.. it actually doesn't last that long and if you don't have a good sense of smell you probably won't even notice =)

Ok I have one more thing to say about it and I don't know which category it would fall into... This sprays crazy powerful, so you MUST spray in short bursts, over a bath tub or in a shower I suggest so you don't have a light powdery substance all over your bathroom. Also use a bore bristle brush and it will help brush the light color out of your hair... I first used a comb and that just made my hair look greyish..
I think this is a decent product for under $10 . I think I would prefer to use baby powder but this wasn't a total waste of money.
************************************************
Since I wrote this review I have tested out a few more dry shampoo's and have found my HD dry shampoo!!! Batiste! You can check out my review for the regular Batiste dry shampoo HERE and the Batiste for Dark hair HERE. I HIGHLY recommend this dry shampoo!

Have you tried got2b or any other dry shampoo you liked or not?

Big Sexy Hair

*ProDucTs I RegRet BuYinG*

8:51 PM

I am always liking to know products all the YouTube Guru's and pretty much everyone i know like and dislike. I have a few dislikes that I would like to share with you so you don't waste your money!

Like most people I was looking for a solution where I could wash my hair every other day so I wouldn't dry it out or fade the color so much, I had tried a couple dry shampoo products before but never found to much positive's from them. I watched a couple reviews on the TRESemme Fresh start and thought I would give it a try. This was pretty terrible, I have dark hair so this left my hair a grayish color which is just not cute and just left a gross residue in my hair. It would have been better to just leave my dirty greasy hair alone and i would never ever buy this product. It might work with a lighter hair color or maybe it you have thicker hair (My hair is fairly fine so this did nothing for me)

The next Product I had high hopes for but NOPE it didn't work for me =/  This is the Big Sexy Hair Root Pump Plus Volumizing Mousse. This product wasn't terrible but it wasn't anything special.. It basically did nothing no matter how much or little i used it just didn't help in anyway. And it was pricey.

I was looking for a cheap shampoo & conditioner and I found the Live Clean Argon Oil, cruelty free product. I thought this looked great and the smell was not to bad either, I do find it a bit strong but a vanilla smell to it really did nothing but make my hair flat and lifeless. It was reasonably priced so it wasn't a total loss. I wouldn't recommend this for fine hair.

I am not trying to Dis this line because I am sure it is a good line but I just didn't find this helped my hair either. This leave in conditioner I actually only used three times and didn't even bother trying it any more then that as it made a gross residue in my already flat crappy hair! It weighed it down and I didn't find it protective.. I much prefer the CHI silk Infusion. You really only need a tiny little bit of this as the product does go far, it might be better for curly thicker hair but for this straight haired girl it was thumbs down =(

Okay this product I was so sad and its not a TOTAL regret but I have had it for quite some time and honestly I will never finish the bottle... This is the Everyday Gradual Tan by St. Tropez, which i hear such good things about this company and don't want to be hated on for this but the smell is so terrible I just couldn't handle using it. I could smell it all day long. I tried just using it before bed as it is a light foam but the smell is so off putting and results not great I just gave up. I did pay a lot for this, had to pay for shipping to Canada so that kind of makes me want to use it, but i won't. I definitely would try a different self tanner from St. Tropez just not this one...

Last Product.. Nivea's Happy Time sold me watching those girls on the commercial looking so happy with pretty skin... haha BUT I was not so happy using this. The smell is a strong Orangey smell-not the good kind of orange smell either. This is not moisturizing or anything fancy. It feels like you put it on and it just sits on top of your skin. Needless to say this full bottle will be hanging out under my sink until i can find a home for it, or toss it in the trash! would not ever repurchase.

IS there any products anyone has tried and hated?
