CLEAN EXPRESS!
MAYBELLINES new Clean Express makeup removing facial towelettes.
WOW! These are fricken amazing. First actual makeup wipe that I have use that is soooo moist! It is gentle but does remove my waterproof mascara. I heart these!

KATY PERRY By EYURE in OH HONEY!
My new favorite false lashes. Nothing will replace my Xtreme Lashes I had earlier this year but who can afford those all the time? Not me. These add lots of length and volume to my lashes that I do not have.

 NIVEA Mattifying Day Care Moisturizer
I love the smell of this and how it actually helps combat my oily skin. It's not perfect but for $8 it is by far the best mattifying moisturizer that I have used.

 OVER THE EDGE ESSIE
This color is sooooooooo nice!!! I love it! I just wish I didn't need multiple coats to get the full color. How the heck do people have the patience to wait for it to dry without moving their hands for so long?! I seriously HATE how Essie isn't quick drying. I usually use the Sallys Instant dry since I am inpatient as hell.

BATH & BODY WORKS Wild Berry Tulips
I have way too many of these body mists and I think I purchased this last year and finally am actually using it. It smells so good!

I so cannot describe a fragrance like Bath and body works can...

"Lavishly spritz your skin with our most flirtatious fragrance for spring! Bursts of wild red berries, sheer honeysuckle & warm amber delicately mist skin for the lightest, most refreshing way to fragrance - new sophisticated pump provides superior coverage!"

What are some of your current loves?

Eylure

Katy Perry Lahes by Eylure Review

1:00 AM

I was very kindly sent OH MY!, COOL KITTY, SWEETIE PIE & OH HONEY!  Katy Perry Lashes by EyLure to review. I was super stoked to give these lashes a try, just looking at the packaging you get drawn in and want to have them!

Look how fricken cute the packaging is!The picture of Katy Perry is amazing, her eyes just POP right out with her lashes. I have always thought her eyes were amazing so hopefully these lashes can give me a tiny step towards lashes like hers.
SWEETIE PIE

"This is a great lash for anyone who wants to try false lashes for the first time. It's sweet and subtle, but adds just the right amount of length and volume." KATY
This style is 'Sweetie Pie' a dainty, natural hair lash that will discreetly add length and volume to your own lashes.
All Katy Perry by Eylure lashes are handmade, 100% natural and each style is reusable. "

In each box of lashes includes instructions, lashes, glue and a sticker.

Nice and simple!

Very nice and simple, Barely noticeable. These would be perfect for anytime you need a boost in your lashes.

These are a bit simple for me but I will definitely use these a few times since they are discreet you don't feel like anyone is wondering if they are false lashes or not.

OH HONEY!

"I love that vintage flick at the corners that this lash gives me. Full, fun and great for day or evening." KATY
This style is 'Oh, Honey' a flatteringly full lash, textured for a natural finish but with enough volume to take your lashes from fine to fab!
All Katy Perry by Eylure lashes are handmade, 100% natural and each style is reusable."

Okay I am in LOVE with these ones! They are just gorgeous and add plenty length and volume to my not so great lashes. I love how they flare out at the ends and I would be comfortable wearing them even in the day. I don't know how you couldn't fall in love with these!

 <3<3<3

I am far from being great at putting on eye lashes so you can see the gap between my lashes and the falsies.. sometimes it works great sometimes it doesn't but I wanted to post pictures without any added makeup since you can easily add some eyeliner and shadow and make these blend in nicely.
The length is just crazy, this is something I would wear daily especially if I had somewhere exciting to go lol.

 COOL KITTY

Eylure Katy Perry Lashes In ‘Cool Kitty’ Evening Lash are perfect to get your peepers party worthy. They will help transform your lashes giving you that extra bit of length and thickness that you desire. Easy to apply, safe and hygienic, Eylure Lashes enhance the natural beauty of your eyes without the fuss of mascara! Adhesive and application instructions are included. Say hello to gorgeous lashes!

UH-MAZ-ING! I REALLY love the fullness of these! When I first took these out of the box I was thinking these would be exactly the time of extra drama I'd love for my eyes since I am in love with lashes.

How Beautiful do these look!!

The shape of these lashes fit my eye perfectly with a little bit of trimming and have lasted me two wears as of right now and more to go. The lash quality is very nice and these blended well with my regular lashes.

I know the lighting kind of sucks but the lashes are gorgeous!! I would wear these very often and would for sure purchase.

 OH MY!

"I love Eylure Double Lashes, and I just had to have one for my range of lashes. This style is full of texture, but lightweight and very wearable. The perfect accessory for your eyes." KATY.

This style is called 'Oh, My!' it is big and beautiful with a layered effect. All the texture you could want in a lash yet so wearable and really flattering.

Katy Perry by Eylure lashes are handmade, 100% natural and each style is reusable."

First glance OH WHOA NOW! I can't pull these off! Or can I?

Okay if this isn't a reason to bat your eyelashes I don't know what is! A double banded lash is everything I could want in lashes. I love the thickness and length of these. They seriously look amazing to me but not my kind of everyday lashes.
I loved the bands on these because it was thicker then just the regular lashes so I thought that would make it much easier to apply since regular lash bands are so thin they are flimsy to me since I am not pro at putting on lashes.
Well I was wrong. I fought a bit with this lash to actually get them on my eye properly... I never did in the end :(  I TRIED and TRIED but I couldn't get these to fit my eyes properly even with cutting them to my eye size but I will keep playing with them and see if I can one day.

It's so nice and thick but you can see I couldn't quite get the inner corner to stay put since the band is hard to curve to your eye, well my eye!

Looks good from the side =)

I'll have to update this post later to let you know how this goes!

I liked the glue applicator that it came with. I don't really care for the squeeze tube since I always make a mess and this is basically mess free which i'm a big fan of.

Nice quick instructions on the back of each box is helpful for newbies or for people like me that just like to read the instructions for applying lashes over and over again.

These were probably my favorite lashes I have ever tried, I love the dramatic difference in each kind. Sometimes I find it overwhelming to try to pick a specific false lash out when they have 50 different kinds and are all by numbers. Eylure seems to solve this problem and make it pretty easy for people who don't quite know what they are looking for or don't want to choose from a huge selection when they all look the same. What you see is what you get with these Katy Perry lashes and I would for sure purchase these as well as recommend all of these styles!

There are quite a few other options for Katy Perry Lashes from Eylure if you are looking for more options you can look here!

Aveeno

Products I Regret Buying

1:30 AM

Products meet my garbage can!

*L'OREAL YOUTH CODE
*AVEENO Active Naturals
*SIMPLE Soothing Facial Toner
*GARNIER Skin Renew B.B Cream

Hmm Where to start....
Oh I KNOW! The biggest disappointment...

Claims: Discover an innovation inspired by gene science.
This powerful daily moisturizer helps replenish skin's moisture barrier so it regains the qualities of young-looking skin. Skin looks rested, smoother and youthfully luminous.

Reality:I had high hopes for this and since I have seen enough adds for it I was thinking okay maybe this might be freaking awesome.Basically this felt like sunscreen. I guess with the whole 30spf I should have known better. I did not notice any extra moisture to my skin, no younger looking skin and it just felt too greasy. This product did not absorb nicely in my skin and I am not a fan. I did purchase this for like $4.00 on clearance so luckily there wasn't much money wasted on this one. I just wouldn't recommend this to anyone with oily to combo skin, or anyone with a face. :p The only pro I can think of for this is the pump, gotta love products that actually have a pump!

Claims:This naturally nourishing lotion contains Natural Colloidal Oatmeal blended with rich emollients and is now proven to help skin build a "moisture reserve," so skin can replenish itself. Its fast-absorbing formula helps prevent and protect dry skin, leaving it feeling soft, smooth and naturally healthy looking. It's fragrance free, non-greasy, noncomedogenic and gentle enough for everyday use - good for sensitive skin.

Reality: Sounds pretty nice hey? Welllll we've all seen the Aveeno commercials and I did think okay fine I will give it a try especially since it was a travel size what harm is it? I purchased this for my tattoo that I had gotten in the summer thinking since its fragrance free, noncomedogenic it would be a great moisturizer for it. WRONG it burned like a mother fucker! I had to wipe it off and use my jergens instead. Okay okay maybe this isn't meant for new tattoos but if Jergens is I would think Aveeno would be. I did randomly use this but it didn't have any major pros.

Claims:Our Soothing Facial Toner leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed, plus it's a perfect blend of our purest possible skin loving ingredients with an added vitamin.

Reality: You know when you rinse your skin with water? Well that's pretty much what this is only its about $7. PLEASE someone explain the hype of these Simple products?! I have tried 3 different products and been extremely disappointed with all of them. I do not have super sensitive skin so these might work more for that type of skin.
Maybe my bottle was just replaced with water before I bought it?;)

Claims: All-in-one skin care that gives 5 benefits: Hydrates, corrects wrinkles and imperfections, protects, evens and brightens skin tone.

Reality: Oh they seemed to have forgot to mention these benefits too, added greasiness, grossness and shiny face syndrome included for one low price! This made my face look like it was sopping wet covered in grease. Sick! The scent is pretty over powering if you are sensitive to scents.
I liked the color and how light this product is since I am not a big fan of foundation this is a good alternative. Possibly if you have dry skin this might work for you but as for us oily people stay clear!

Okay enough being dramatic..these just didn't work for me.

Have you tried any of these? Any better luck then me?

Glymm

Over Rated....

1:30 AM

I have been such a fan of the monthly subscription packages for a good year and a half I would say but lately I don't think they have been meeting the mark.
I have had some very unexciting Glymm bags for um I think I would say about 8 months but I for some reason haven't cancelled the damn thing.  Need to put that on my to do list.
I had a credit card number stolen this year and that was attached to my Glymm account so when I logged into my account to change the billing information with my new card there wasn't even an option to put the new credit card information in my account, ridiculous. So I emailed them and explained the issue and to make sure to not cancel the following month's box since I just was switching the card number... When they finally replied a week later they had mentioned they needed my account number, password, credit card information, address and blood type! I was like WHAT do you need my blood type for?! just kidding they didn't ask for my blood type but jeezus they mays well have.
I told them I was extremely uncomfortable emailing all that information to them blahh blahh blahh they replied saying my next month wouldn't be sent out due to late payment (which technically was their fault) and completely ignored everything else I had stated in the email. $15 for TEENY tiny little samples, no thanks.

On the other hand I have always been pretty much super happy with Topbox's samples and customer service. They always seemed to throw in more then 4 or 5 items and everything was always pretty awesome.
This is a bit of a strange post I suppose since I have no freaking clue what junk I received in my Glymm box for February which I JUST got like a week ago but here is what I got in my Topbox for March 2013.

such a bad picture I know! There is no daylight ever lately =(

* L'OREAL PROFESSIONNEL Mythic Oil
*MASKERAIDE Hydrating Facial Sheet Mask
*VERA WANG Lovestruck
*AVEDA Caribbean Therapy Body Cream

I am super excited for the Aveda body cream, it smells delicious and I HEART Aveda products!
The mask sounds really nice too.....

Tattoo Etiquette and Questions?

1:30 AM

image from Weheartit.com
This is TOTALLY my opinion so if you disagree that's okay, we all have our own =)This is based on my personal experience and knowledge from tattooers I know. I in no way have my masters degree in tattoos ;p

This post I have thought about for quite a long time and always wanted to write one since I have read a couple in my day and think it is a good idea to talk about.
I recently had some work done on my arm, a half sleeve and I do have a couple other larger tattoos but this is the first one that people can really see all the damn time so the comments and questions and touching-yes touching comes in more often then one would like.

The BIGGEST part I want to talk about is that it's easy to sit back and judge, yes I am guilty too.We all are. When you see a tattoo you dislike you might just immediately think what the heck is wrong with that person and what were they thinking?! WELLLLL guess what you may never know. Each person is different and we all have our different styles. So try to just take it as art and it can have never ending different meanings. I PERSONALLY do not think that every tattoo has to have a profound heartfelt meaning. That's just me, call me weird but if it's fucking awesome and I love it I might just want it tattooed on me, I do get grief about this from time to time but if I put my life story on my body man it would just be weird!!! lol.
I am not going to lie but if I see a REALLY poorly done piece that you can tell they put the tattoo machine together in their basement(don't get tattooed in a basement! lol) I do think they look like shit. I think you need to make sure you get good quality so it can actually look good if that makes sense. Not all tattoos look good, but if done by professional artists they most likely will look good. I am guilty of having one that doesn't look the best but it will be covered up one day!=)

image from Weheartit.com
This is my second biggest thing with people, and I am not talking about your friends or family necessarily but more like strangers or co workers. Don't fucking touch my tattoo, especially when it's fresh and new done that fucking day! My sister and I went on a tattoo trip last summer and we were just visiting a friend and her boss came out and checked out our new tattoos and he like stroked my sisters arm right on her day old tattoo too and seriously that's not only awkward but man I don't know where the hell your hands have been! Just don't touch, it's skin and once it's heeled it just feels like the rest of your skin so there really is no need to touch me especially if we have only met for 3 seconds.I even had a girl lightly rub my thigh tattoo once, I was like ummmm hi there! lol.

Please don't ask me how much it cost. This is just ridiculous. It's not something you can just base off of how much the stranger down the street paid for his. Every shop is different, every piece is different therefore the price will never be the same so really you don't need to ask me how much I paid. ESPECIALLY when I don't know you! Some people have much higher standards in quality so there is no real way to judge the pricing, you really get what you pay for and I think forking out a lot for good artwork is well fucking worth it! Another reason why you shouldn't ask is because you have no clue how well their artist knows them, they might be super great friends and get a wicked deal then you go there and get charged up your ass for your piece.
There is this girl I work with that has some questionable tattoos and she brags how cheap they are, and you can tell they were cheap by looking at them! You should be bragging by how great the quality is not the price. So to me when someone brags about the price usually their tattoo isn't all that great.

Not everyone wants to talk about what they have on their bodies.I think some people love the attention they receive from their tattoos but not everyone wants to be pestered about what it means, where you got it done, how much it was,did it hurt, blahh blahh. ESPECIALLY if it is negative comments! I was out one night with some friends and one of the guys girlfriends was out and she asked me if she could see the tattoo on my back, so I showed her and she says "Oh. I don't like tattoos" Well then why the fuck did you ask to see it?! Making me feel beneath you because you don't like part of me is pretty ignorant. I am not an aggressive person so I kind of just was so stunned I said nothing, but I should have told her how I didn't like her ugly face and waited to see what her reaction was but i'm not an ass.
Now I am not saying we don't like to talk about our tattoos but if you aren't actually going to listen to what I say and just start talking about yours then no thanks. Or if you have ignorant things to say about how I will never get hired in a professional business then just shut it!
Recently I had another co worker tell me how "every fucking tattoo is ugly" LOL whoa now simmer down!
Sometimes there are some pretty fucking amazing stories behind tattoos and they can be super interesting to learn about and can be pretty cool if someone wants to share.

image from Weheartit.com
PLEASE don't pick a piece off the wall or copy other peoples tattoos. I know google is the biggest spot to research tattoos and I very much agree with showing an artist a piece that you do like as an inspiration to help get something drawn up that you want but please don't copy. Every tattoo should be unique and I would be sad to see someone walking around with the EXACT thing I had on my body. There are TONS of fad tattoos going around and I know that that is the worst thing to get done.Make sure you like it and it does suit you and not just something that's "in" right now.  Make sure you think about your piece for a few months, look at the picture everyday, think of how it will effect your life and if you can hide it under clothing if you need too. Listen to what the artist suggests, sometimes I know they can really change things and it's shitty thinking they aren't following what you want but they are artists and they do know what can flow or work better with your body so be open to suggestions.

Tattoo pain is another one of those topics where of course it depends on your pain tolerance as well as how big your piece is. I find the older I get the more it hurts. The bigger the piece the more it hurts. In the past I have had smaller tattoos and as I get more they are getting larger and take hours instead of minutes. If you do not have a high pain tolerance then you probably should go for 2 hour sittings tops if you are getting a larger piece. I think my tolerance is good but the longest I can go is 3.5 hours and fuck it's painful if your artist pushes hard. Another factor is how hard they press, I swear I pissed off my one artist pretty bad and he pushed so damn hard I didn't think I could make it through!

How do you know if you are going to a good artist? I CANNOT stress this enough, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your homework!!! Research their web site, go to their shop and speak with the artist to see if what you want is something they can or are willing to actually tattoo. Many people don't know this but a lot of artist do have a typical style of work so make sure you look into their style to see if it matches what you are wanting to get done. Make sure you check out their portfolios. Lots of artists have Instagram accounts or facebook pages of their work so there is always a good amount of photos you can check into. It's better to do too much research then show up for your appointment and be disappointed.

Pieces of regret! Ughh this is the worst part of it all!! Getting tattoos when you are younger can be such a bad thing since when you are 18 you probably like different things compared to when your 25! I have a couple that I was just thinking oh man if I could just erased them I would! Thankfully there is coverups and lazer removal! But be careful!

image from Weheartit.com. I think they look fucking great! =)
This pisses me off the most, when people say " what are you going to do when your 70 and your tattoos are all saggy?" DO YOU THINK I CARE WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE WHEN I'M 70?! Maybe when i'm 40 but not 70! LOL like seriously people come on! I have a few people in my life who really dislike tattoos and their comments to me are just ridiculous.
"What are you going to do when you need a real job?" UMM go to work? lol it's 2013 piercings and tattoos are pretty much allowed in most professions, especially in where I am interested in.
"People with tattoos are trashy" How the heck is a beautiful flower or a lyric or whatever trashy?! I think maybe  you are thinking the person is trashy but only have the balls to say their tattoo is trashy. This also plays in the better the artist the better the tattoo and good tattoos cannot be trashy!
Some people say to me "why would you want to wreck your body like that?" I personally think it makes me feel a teeny tiny bit pretty. I like art and I think if you can nicely add it to your body then do it!!
I have met some of the SWEETEST people in the tattoo community and it really shows it doesn't matter what you look like to be a good person.

Some random questions I get asked:

Can I get my tattoo wet after it's done? What kind of lotion do I use? Can I use Aloe Vera? Listen to what your artist or shop tells you you should do to best suit your tattoo. The healing process is extremely important and I seriously cringe when friends tell me they don't do anything different while their tattoo is healing. You need to keep the ink vibrant and new looking. PLEASE listen to what you are told from the shop. In my experience I let my tattoos get a splash in the shower but not soaked once a day to keep it clean and use a non scented white lotion a couple times a day to keep it moisturized. PLEASE do not pick at scabbing! This is a crappy part but usually they scab. Mine always do and they can get pulled of from clothing pretty easy and you will find you need touch ups because when that scab is pulled off a part of color will usually come out with that scab.
You would think Aloe vera would be great to heal with the tattoo process but from what I have learned aloe speeds up healing in wounds but since this is a different type of "wound" it can heal the top layer of skin and mess with the tattoo... (don't quote me on that but that is what I have read into) Some shops might recommend it but just do what works with you.

My tattoo is so itchy! DO NOT scratch! Man that is a hard one to live by but seriously don't scratch it, it gets itchy while it's healing and when you scratch you risk pulling off any skin that maybe hanging on and that means you might need touch ups if the ink comes off with the skin! I know this is weird but I pat on my tattoo when I can't scratch them, it doesn't quite do the job but it's something!

Is it supposed to hurt a couple days after? Yes depending on your body, where it is and how big it is. My arm still hurts to touch it 3 days later but it's pretty normal. Some people even bruise from being tattooed. If you do have major concerns for sure go back to the shop and see what they say and then seek medical help if needed.

Okay I think that's mostly what I had in my head, I just wanted to let people know that whether you have a tattoo or none or you are covered we are all just people and we are all different, so try not to judge! =)

What do you think of the whole tattoo scene?
Would you get one?
Would you get more?

Garnier

Garnier Olia Hair Color Review

1:30 AM

"A technological breakthrough. Oil can do more than condition your hair. The oil-enriched formula propels colour deep inside the hair... without ammonia.
OLIA maximizes your colour performance with its 1st ammonia-free permanent home haircolour powered by oil. Olia visibly improves the quality of hair as the oils help to reverse roughness and dullness for more brilliant, dimensional colour and softer, shinier hair with bounce."

Most of you have probably heard of Garnier's Olia permanent ammonia free hair dye by now.
There are tons and tons of mixed reviews I have read and I figured the only way to figure it out is to try it myself! So here I am testing out this randomly rated product. I bought this in black-FIGURES!I wish they had blue black which is the current color I like to use but their selection isn't the greatest. I paid a whopping $11.99 for this which is just crazy but I was thinking maybe this product would be worth it?

Basic hair color kit. This does contain the developer and the colorant in different tubes to mix into the bottle rather then it usually coming with one in the bottle.Makes me feel like all those people who get to buy dye from Sallys and mix it all up! lol. No Sallys around my area  =(. Then the after care conditioner, I have yet to actually like any of these that come with box dyes.

I do like the black pink and yellow packing all together, it looks modern and drew me in.

It's about DAMN time they came up with an applicator bottle that was perfect! Apparently that was a difficult thing to do! But Garnier takes the cake in this contest. The bottle was very easy to hold and with the end on the applicator it really gives you the precision you need with getting in the roots.

Typical too big gloves, they are just like the white ones but black, nylon type material. I found them to be a bit slippery though so they were annoying when i was trying to pick up my comb to separate my hair.

Fairly thick!
Okay now on to the good stuff!

I will make this short and too the point since i'm not great at writing long interesting points.

PROS:
*This product is super thick, fells like I was using conditioner to dye my hair which was great for no drips or splattering dye on my wall or floors.
*NO horrible dye smell! That was one of my top loves of this product. There is a faint floral scent that is pleasant but I barely noticed it so it wasn't over powering, no need for the bathroom fan on or window to be open!
*The applicator! It was pretty much perfect, easy to squeeze the product out and super easy to do roots with the nice tapered off end.
*Didn't get the total straw like feel when washing dye out.

CONS:
*Pricy. Is this justifiable with the fact there isn't that horrid ammonia smell you must smell for a good hour??
*Maybe it was a tad too thick? I did have a couple spots on my head after washing the dye out and blow drying that I might have applied too much to that area and I had to blot with a kleenex.
*Not a huge color selection.
*The conditioner was terrible.

Okay so they claim to reverse dullness, roughness for softer shiner hair with bounce. Meh. I didn't think it gave my hair any extra anything other then some refreshed color. I have soft hair to begin with so maybe that's why I didn't have amazing results.

The total time to apply was almost 15 minutes, I do use a brush to make sure I get all of the dye on my hair so that takes longer. You wait 30 minutes for dye to process.

So what do I really think? The color was nice, not crazy shiny black which I always like to see. I did use the conditioner that came with the box that I never do but since I chopped off all my hair I figured what the hell does it matter anyways, well that did not condition my hair in the least bit but I guess I knew that. The process was a bit easier since there was no dripping, I did get some dye on my skin and when I wiped it off at the end I found the same amount of staining on my skin as usual. I loved the no chemical smell but I didn't find my hair to feel like it was not abused by being dyed. I am super curious to see how long the color lasts before I need to redye.
The price is a bit much but I think I would purchase again especially if this was on sale, I just wish the selection was bigger but maybe they will broaden that later. Olia didn't give me any better color then most other dye's I have used previously.
I seriously cannot even take a picture of my hair. I cut it pretty effing short and absolutely hate it now and refuse to show the world if I don't have too!!

What do you think of this product??
