Bath And Body Works

January Favorites!

1:00 AM

I missed December's favorites just because I wasn't really crazy in love with anything but this month I kinda am....

*MAYBELLINE'S BABY LIPS-Peppermint. This works great for me and I love the smell!!
*TOKIDOKI- The packaging is my FAVORITE! Very cute. This is a nice gloss with nice color, I love to use it after my baby lips!

*GIOVANNI Hair styling mousse- The is my HG mousse! LOVE IT! Cruelty free, enriched with organic bonticals. This is the ONLY mousse I have ever used and we all know I have used a million different kinds that ACTUALLY help give my blahh hair volume! LOVE this stuff and will continue to repurchase.

*SKULL CANDY ear buds- I go through these ridiculously fast since I listen to them pretty much all day at work, these were only $9 so if they wear out oh well!

BE ENCHANTED- Bath & Body Works Body Mist. Smells really fricken good!!

*BENEFITS BAD GAL Brown. Ahh this stuff is really nice! The wand is really unique with the shape, it works soooo well on my bottom lashes!
*NYC Eye/Eye Brow Liner in Black. This is probably my favorite drug store liner now, it goes on smooth and it is very black.
*MAYBELLINE Mineral Powder Concealer- LOVE this stuff! I can apply this to my whole entire face and wow what a transformation ;) just kidding...but it works really well to spot conceal things you need to! Matches my skin tone very well.

I have been trying to watch my spending so my blog has been a little boring for makeup products but I needed to cut back a bit on all the crap I buy!  But i'm in a shopping mood today so we will see what happens!

What has been your favorite for January?

Random Buys

1:00 AM

You know I totally enjoy reading people's post about all the crap they buy =D So here is a couple random things I have bought throughout the past couple weeks.

Okay ever since I read Gaby's post about her body butter she had recently bought I was thinking OMG I WANT SOME TOO =D
Oddly enough I don't actually think I have ever bought a full size body butter, I think I had been given a couple small ones throughout my life for a gift and thought when I saw this ahh what the hell I am buying it!
Well I lucked out, I had scratched a scratch and save thingy in the store and received 50% off my purchase So I got the Coconut body butter for $9 instead of $18
& the Holiday Cranberry Body Butter for $1! YES ONE FLIPPING DOLLAR!! lol That is the cheapest I think I have ever bought anything from there... There was a sale going on if you spent $35 you could get the cranberry body butter for a dollar and since I was buying a couple gifts there I spend $38 after the 40% off . I was pretty happy.
I am really quite in love with the coconut body butter, I love cranberry but I am not gonna lie I some how just smell alcohol or something with the cranberry one lol. It's okay but it just has something that links my mind to think of drinking! Damn I bought my mother the cranberry gift set =/ hopefully I am the only one who thinks that it smells a bit off!

Exotic ( I seriously swear it used to be called Exotica but some how the a has disappeared since my last bottle..does anyone know if I am crazy or what?)  This is my favorite burning oil ever! It's fruity and makes my house smell delicious!

*MACADAMIA DEEP REPAIR MASK - this is my second lil pack and holy crap love it!!!
*MAYBELLINE BABY LIPS in Mint
*GIOVANNI  Natural Mousse Air-turbo Charged
*MONTAGNE JEUNESSE ICE CRYSTAL Exfoliating and Cleansing Facial

I saved the best for last....

I was very hesitant for a LONG time to purchase a styling wand(is that what you even call it??) but I finally did when I found it on sale at beautychoice.com for around $100. Yes that is expensive and not something I was overly happy to purchase but I believe it was around $160 so I thought what the heck.... and I LOVE IT!!!! I will do a review on this(unless no one is interested :,( lol ) and show you everything it comes with and why it's so cool...

I am actually really liking everything so far....what is the latest of random things you have purchased?

Beauty Savvy

First Impressions

8:38 AM

I recently purchased a couple Items that I had been wanting to try for quite a while now and I am happy I finally have gotten to try them!!!! Here is my first impressions of the 3 items...

I have seen Saaammage talk about this eye makeup remover a million times and I am ALWAYS lusting to try it!!! Since it isn't sold in Canada it is a littler harder to try. FINALLY I have it =D =D =D I have only used this a couple times since I had got it so I don't know 100% sure how I feel about it but it is really nice. It seriously feels like you are using water since it is not oily at all-which I LOVE. I hate using anything oily on my eyes, I don't like the residue that is left on my skin. This does the job pretty well for taking off waterproof mascara. No stinging either which is also something everyone hates! I love the look of the bottle but I am soo used to using my foaming makeup remover from Clean&Clear that it was harder to get used to such a watery formula.  I am not 100% Sure if Sonia Kashuk doesn't test on animals, I didn't find them on the PETA list but some other sites claimed they don't but I won't be getting too attached to this since it isn't in my country.. I don't think so at least?

Giovanni Shampoo& Conditioner -$9 each
I had watched a video from Beauty Savvy and I had been REALLY REALLY wanting to try these after that. I had googled it and wasn't sure on where to find them since she had purchased hers at an American store. BUT I was at Walmart last week and I saw them next to the Burts Bee's and I was like OMG I HAVE to purchase these!!
So I just picked out the root 66 shampoo.Max volume & 50:50 Balanced hair remoisturizer for normal to dry hair.
The good things with these are:
*Enriched with Certified Organic Botanicals
*No Animal by-products
*Cruelty free
=D
How does that not sound great for your hair? I think if you have damaged or fine hair it really does matter what you are washing and conditioning your hair with. I know these might be considered drug store but they are healthy for your hair and don't have all the gunk that some other brands might.
I was happy to find a decently priced cruelty free shampoo&conditioner that has decent ingredients in them =)
These are lightly scented and I really like the bottles, the price might be expensive since I like to buy the 1L bottles from a salon since really you pay $30 or so and it lasts like a year so why wouldn't you go for those rather then small drug store bottles?
I did notice my hair seemed really soft after I rinsed the conditioner out, sometimes my hair just feels blahh until its dry but it felt extra soft. I don't know how great the shampoo is for colored hair because I did see some color going down the drain =( but I will just have to wait to see how long the color lasts while using these products.

Here is Beauty Savvy's Video if you are interested in seeing what she thought of the products:

Have you tried either of these products?
