February TOPBOX 2013

This month's Topbox was Lippy Girl. I had never heard of this brand but I mean come on who doesn't NEED more lip gloss? ;)
Okay I was having a SHIT day when I opened this up and honestly it didn't make my day any brighter.
Here's what I got...

AND..........

ummmmm where is the rest of my stuff? lol. I was seriously surprised to see 2 items in this month's tube thingy ( I don't know what to call it!) Usually I am raving about how much extra Topbox gives us and February is a crap month as is I was hoping maybe they would make me smile at least but nahh!

lol whoa this is a terrible picture ops.

Okay I am kind of kidding. I do realize these are full size items and are more pricy since they are cruelty free. I was happy to be able to try these items since I haven't yet and you have to love cruelty free items. I haven't opened the lip glosses yet though because I have a million and need to use some up before I open these but they sound really nice!

You can check out Lippy Girl's Website HERE to see more of their products.

What did you think of this months Topbox??

Hair and Skin Care Haul

9:28 AM

Some random hair and skin care:
Yep I went shopping = 0 BUT I did use a gift card for most of this so I don't feel so guilty...

*VASELINE Spray & Go Moisturizer
*VASELINE Coco Radiant Body Butter
*QUO Mini Eye Makeup Remover Pads
*S FACTOR Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner
*HEALTHY SEXY HAIR Soy Tri-Wheat Leave in Conditioner
*MACADAMIA Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque
*GARNIER Olia Oil Powered Hair Color

VASELINE Spray & Go Moisturizer
Looks like sunscreen hey? I had bought ones of these from Soap & Glory like a year ago and loved the idea of how lazy it could be to apply moisturizer but it smelled like an old lady so I ended up not using it. This has a light fresh aloe scent that I quite enjoy. This is light weight and super quick if you don't have time to lotion up. I do recommend using it in your shower or your floor will be slipper as hell from the over spray! I bought this on sale for $4.99 I believe it is around $6.99 regularly.

 VASELINE Coco Radiant Body Butter
I purchased this product this week actually and kind of hesitant since I do have quite a few of Bath and Body works or Body Shop body butters that I need to use but I find them so fragrance that I guarantee that's why they aren't as moisturizing. So far this stuff is amazing! The smell is to die for and it actually is moisturizing. It can be a bit greasy if just used on your hands-I always wipe my palms off after using this but I love this so far. A bit pricy for $6.99 but cheaper then the body shop stores.

QUO Mini Eye Makeup Remover Pads
I saw these in the travel section at Shoppers Drug Mart and thought mays well try them for a few bucks. I love trying travel size products instead of blowing my money on full size and hating the product. These are those you could take it or leave it,nothing amazing nothing to shitty. Just something as a back up when you are out of your HG makeup wipes. These were $3.99 and I probably won't repurchase.

S FACTOR Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner
I've had this weird obsession of wanting to try the TIGI S Factor products I think because of the packaging, how sad lol. They just look clean and expensive.Oh wait they are damn expensive that's why it took me years before I could try them! I found these at a mall in my city on sale from $46.00(the shampoo) to $23.00. jeezus who pays $46.00 for shampoo!? I wish that was in my budget! The condition was regularly $50.81 (random price) and on sale for $23.00. I think these are decent prices since they seriously last me over a year. AND I was lucky and had a gift card so this was free for me =D okay first off these smell EFFING AMAZING!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the scent it's fruity and sweet. I haven't used them enough to know if I am in complete love or not but so far so good!

HEALTHY SEXY HAIR Soy Tri-Wheat Leave in Conditioner
L O V E this product! Has to be my all time favorite leave in conditioner I have tried. This is pricey but this bottle will probably last a year anyway so it's not too bad. This was regularly $29.00 on sale for $19.00 which I used a gift card so that was nice. This product detangles my scraggly long fine hair and leaves it soft without any build up. This is for sure my go to leave in treatment.

MACADAMIA Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque
I FINALLY had enough points on my Shoppers Drug Mart card to get this product for almost free, I think I paid $3.00 but it was WELL worth it. This is the only deep conditioning masque that doesn't let me down. I cannot use a deep conditioner that isn't thick and this is pretty thick, coats the hair and smells super good. I always have ridiculously soft hair after using this and I really think it repairs some of the damage I've done with my 3 strands of fine ass hair. This sucker is $31.00 for 250ml,makes me cringe when I type that but if you can afford to splurge I would suggest it. I have a feeling this will last quite a while but then again what do I know I have barely any hair! *red face*

GARNIER Olia Oil Powered Hair Color
I don't know if I have ever read such hit and miss reviews about a new product in my life. I hear sooo many positive and soooo many negative reviews about this product I HAD to try it for myself. I dyed my hair last week so I will be waiting a little while to use it but when I do it better impress me! This is very appealing since it is ammonia free, not only is that super damaging for your hair but the smell is just disgusting so I am excited to try this. This was expensive though $11.00. Have any of you tried this one out yet?

Has anyone tried any of these products??

A few Faves =D

HI STRANGERS!!! If anyone is out there, I guess when you remove your blog you lose all of your followers =( so I am not sure if anyone will even know this is here.
WOW it's been a LONG TIME! almost a year. I just felt like blogging so here I am =D
These are just a couple products I have been using that make my life a lot easier and use pretty much daily.

*Sephora's Bulls Eye Lash Applicator
*Tarte Picture Perfect Duo EyeLash Curler
*Dr Jart+ Beauty Balm
*Clinque Rinse off makeup solvent

What it is:
A convenient tool that makes applying false lashes easy and precise.

What it does:
Apply your favorite false lashes in a snap with this innovative tool, perfect for both the novice lash wearer and the aficionado. The rubber-coated grips offer superior hold and control as you place the lash on your lid and the ergonomic design fits comfortably in your hand.
This was a bit different but I struggle sometimes with lashes and I watched like ten YouTube videos on this product and though meh why not. It works really well! It's like the tweezer idea but great for people who aren't as good with false lashes. This helpful tool was $14.00 from Sephora.com

Seriously I swear everyone raves about this eye lash curler and since I am picky with these suckers I though FINE i'll pay the damn $21.00 and it better be good. I like the cute handle but I am not a fan of this style of curler. I just find it awkward with one hand. I do like that the opening opens wide enough to fit my lashes through, some of them i cant even get my lashes in its ridiculous.
Needless to say this curler is the first curler that actually holds my curl all day long. I think it was worth the splurge.

What it is:
A purifying face cream that provides age defense, and hides uneven skintone and blemishes.

What it is formulated to do:
- Botanical Formula to purify and calm blemish prone or sensitive skin while also combating dark spots and pollutants for an enhanced radiance
- Features SPF 25 sun protection
- Comes in one universal shade

Perfect and protect skin instantly with this all-in-one multifunctional Beauty Balm. This triple-action formula naturally covers blemishes and uneven skintone, and contains botanical actives to purify and calm blemish-prone or irritated skin. Arbutin works to erase unwanted dark spots, while caviar extract and antioxidants protect skin from inner and outer pollutants for an enhanced radiance. Lightweight with sunscreen protection for simple, one-step neutralizing coverage, this soothing cream delivers optimal results for both women and men.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Phthalates

Sounds pretty amazing hey? This is by far the best beauty balm I have used. I find it leaves my face with a decent looking finish (nothing works for me I swear to actually have flawless looking skin) and lasts I would say a good 8 house. I do use a mattifying powder to set this. The price was pretty much extreme for me but clearly I was wanting to splurge, this will probably last me forever since I usually don't use anything other then powder daily. I purchased this for $36.00 at Sephora.com

I am some what of a cheap ass except the odd time I will spend too much but this makeup remover was in my Clinique January's Topbox and I was really surprised at how well it worked. I seriously always stick to Clean and Clear's foaming makeup remover because its easy to use and fairly cheap but this was a nice change to actually try.

What it is:
An eye makeup remover that acts fast.

What it is formulated to do:
This unique formula quickly removes all eye makeup, from lashes to brows. Perfect for quick makeup changes, touchups, and repairs, it cleans easily without disturbing other makeup. Blur-free and sting-free, this ophthalmologist-tested product is non-irritating and oil-free. It requires no rubbing and is ideal for all skin types.

Would I purchase it for $20? HELL no. If I was rich yes but as of right now I haven't hit that damn lotto yet so it is a bit much.

Those were a few of my favorites for the past couple months, what are yours?
